Things you need to know
One Frequency
Sound
The One Frequency Sound is a Tour that brings together a trinity of legendary architects of sound system culture:
The Scientist Dubmaster, Festus Coxsone, Gappy Crucial.

Though reggae continues to evolve, the words sound and power still define its core. This isn’t nostalgia – it’s a resurrection.
One Frequency Sound Tour will bring the weight of tradition and the fire of innovation to every stage it commands.
Scientist The Dubmaster
Dub engineer Hopeton “Scientist” Brown transformed the very nature of reggae mixing, turning riddims into narrative weapons on classics like Scientist Wins the World Cup and Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Vampires.
His work with Roots Radics, Junjo Lawes, and Barrington Levy defined a generation of dub – and helped seed genres from jungle to reggaeton.

Festus Coxsone
Founding engineer and selector of Sir Coxsone Outernational, Festus is a foundational figure in UK reggae sound system culture. From St. Thomas, Jamaica to London’s West End, his live sets and dubplate craftsmanship have defined what sound system frequency feels like – balanced, spiritual, and deeply rooted

Gappy Crucial
Mentored by Festus and trained in the Sir Coxsone ranks since the 1980s, Gappy Crucial carries the original frequency into the now. Founder of Vinyl Star Sound, he’s also a skilled promoter, audio engineer, and longtime radio host – blending roots, dancehall, jungle, and dubstep with fearless authority.

This isn’t just a tour. It’s a Sound reckoning
